For the first time i was close enough to make MVP gold on Alaska, which may sound like no big deal, but skipping security at the airports is a HUGE deal. Anyway I needed 845 more miles.
I decided it would be a good time to go visit Will for the day. I took a EARLY flight (7:30am) which landed in SF at 9:30am, Will picked me up and we cruised down to the SFMOMA, which had a few shows Will hadn't seen. Jeff Wall, a collection of large back lite, mostly "recreated" photos, a few of which were I thought were stunning! Also showing was Olafur Eliasson, which had a frozen BMW, which was contained in a HUGE walk in freezer. Seemed to me that most of his work revolved around geometrics and geometry. The room full of geometrical models was amazing and could have been a show to its self. I think highlight of the Olafur show was "Room for One Color" which was lite, with really bright yellow lights that made all color look monochromatic, and your skin look like you were dead,
Will and I hung out here for awhile before heading off to The luggage Store Gallery, which had a group show hanging with some good stuff, most interesting was that they were peeling back the paint in one corner of the gallery to reveal some pieces that had been painted over almost 10 years ago.
Left downtown and cruised over to Haight, popped into Giant Robot, Kid Robot, FTC, RVCA (which was really nice), spent some time at Ameoba.
Left the Haight and cruised to the Mission, stopped in at Jack Hanely Gallery, which had a cool collages and paintings by up by Gee Vaucher. Cruised into a few shops, 826 Valencia, which is Dave Eggers, writing / pirate supply shop! Stopped into another record shop and played Tron for about an hour (this game is addicting!)
We then ended up at Zeitguys, which is nice for Will because you can smoke outside and nice for me because they have 2.50 Pabst in bottles. While we were there a huge lot of Drunk Santas got kicked out which was a site to see.
Left Zeitguys at 7:45 got the airport at 8:30 and was in my bed by 11pm!
Thanks to Will for showing me around. Here are few more photos!

The game, The Win was amazing!
On a sad note, we may have lost our tailgating spot, our time with the clock tower and the station is up. We were informed by the BNSF police that we would no longer be welcome to enjoy a cold refreshing beverage, or a Stu Special on game day mornings. I mean are they serious! There is only 1 game day left. Its like going into a movie theatre with 5 minutes left of the movie and asking to see peoples tickets. So we ended up going over to this other field that is across the street. I guess they play Baseball? there! We snuck a bag of beer in and made fun of this sport for awhile before heading over to see a REAL sport! A good day, but a sad morning!
Want to see a few more photos?
Took a trip to the city of brotherly love to watch the philadelphia eagles try to win a game against the seahawks (they couldnt pull it off). Below are highlights of the trip, thanks to the mobile blogging skills of the.justin.coyne (thanks so much). Also Micah has a few highlights on his blog

I would recap what all went down, but you can follow the mobile blog below, or read micah. Its awesome when i dont have to write. most things make more sense!

Chilling at Ludwig's, this bavarian restaurant, and stuart found a dead lud(ear)wig in his rum and coke! But no fear; they brought him another one.

Eating 50 cheese steaks is impossible without an artificial colon and frequent transfusions. It aint happenin'.

The local video game emporium. In the bigscreen madden showdown the hawks beat the eagles in a squeaker 35-34, much to the shagrin of the eagle fans looking on.

Philadelphians enjoy a variety of sports including Ice Puck, a game in which groups of clumsy ice skaters try not to trip over each other while swinging sticks at a can of chew.

It's like a big oversized Pike Place, only all indoors cause philadelphians are pussies. Plus: no anarchist bookstore.

We've been told that everyone on the east coast buys their coffee at dunkin donuts. Which is probably why everyone on the east coast is so cranky.
